Meet the Staff

From Left to Right:

Ricardo Barber, Angela Hamby, Ron Gregory, Chris Walden, Frank Ehrhorn, and Heather Walden

Chris Walden

Senior Pastor

Chris has been pastoring Rock Hill since August 1996 fulfilling the pastoral call God has put on his life. That original call of ministry also included a call to evangelism which is another part of ministry he finds great joy in. Chris received a B.A. in Applied Ministry with a Pastoral Emphasis from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1995. He has attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and previously served on staff as Youth Minister at Rock Creek Baptist Church (Shawnee,OK; 1993-1995). Chris married his wife, Heather, in December 1992 and 8 years later they were blessed with the birth & adoption of their twins, Jeremiah and Quincy. Chris enjoys fishing, camping, golf, working outside and spending time with his family. Contact Chris Walden.

Heather Walden

Minister of Early Childhood

Heather is the Early Childhood Minister at Rock Hill Baptist Church.  Before joining the ministerial staff in January 2009, she served 13 years as Ministry Assistant, along with various lay leadership positions in the Children and Educational ministries.  Following high school, she spent a summer as a student missionary ministering to children through drama, clowning, and leading worship.  God used this experience to lead her to recognize the calling He had placed on her to follow His guidance in vocational ministry.  Heather is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Ministry from Regent University.  She married Chris in 1992 and in 2001 God blessed them with their two children, Jeremiah and Quincy.  She finds her purpose in being a wife, mom, and serving the children and families at Rock Hill Baptist Church.  Outside of church, Heather loves scrap-booking, traveling, and family time. Frank Ehrhorn

Associate Pastor/Minister of Worship

Born in San Francisco, CA, Frank moved to Texas as a teenager. In 1973, he married his wife, Veta, and six years later as young worldly adults, they both became transformed, born again believers in Jesus Christ. From the very beginning, Frank & Veta have felt the call to serve the Kingdom of God and the need to be giving their lives to ministry. While seeking deeper things of the Spirit, Frank was gifted in music- a talent that had been dormant his entire life to that point. For more than twenty years, Frank & Veta have served the body of Christ in Youth Ministry- a position they believe is a calling and not a "stepping stone." Frank joined the staff at Rock Hill in 2002 as Youth Minister and Minister of Worship. Continuing as Minister of Worship, he resigned his position as Youth Minister in 2005 to go to school, and in January 2007 became full-time Associate Pastor and Minister of Worship. Though stepping down as Youth Minister, Frank has always continued to work with youth in other capacities, while Veta continues to be a wonderful mentor to young ladies. Frank enjoys writing music, playing the guitar with the “house worship band” One Heart, kayaking and spending time with his family. Frank and Veta have two grown daughters, Krisi  and Courtney (married to Marc), and 5  grandchildren. Contact Frank Ehrhorn.

Ron Gregory

Children's Minister

Originally from the small college town of Glenville, WV, Ron moved to Brogue, PA after marrying Nicole in 1994.  It was there that the couple came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  In 1998, the growing family moved to Aubrey.  After attending Rock Hill for 7 years, Ron joined the staff in February 2006 as the Children's Minister. Ron also serves as the writer of Christ's Corral, a weekly drama service provided to the families of our church.  Ron serves bi-vocationally as a teacher with Aubrey Intermediate.  Ron and Nicole have three beautiful daughters; Ashley, Scarlett and Melanie.  In his free time, Ron enjoys announcing Aubrey Area Youth football games, writing, sponsoring the Student Council, reading, coaching basketball & various U.I.L. academic teams. Ricardo Barber

Youth Pastor

Ricardo accepted the call God placed on him shortly after his conversion in 2003.  It was a call to pastoral ministries.  At the beginning of 2004, he moved to Michigan from Louisiana to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education at Michigan Theological Seminary, which is now called Moody Theological Seminary.  He completed this program in December 2008.  While in Michigan he served as Children's Director at Middlebelt Baptist Church for three years.  He then moved to Fort Worth from Michigan in the summer of 2009 to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.  He joined the Rock Hill family in February 2010, along with his wife, Menya and their three daughters, Taylor (12), Hope (3) and Faith (5 months).  Ricardo takes pleasure every moment he spends with his wife and kids.  He also plays basketball, football, writes poetry and loves reading.
