Rock Hill Baptist Church :: Van Driver Ministry |

We can always use more van drivers and adult riders. This ministry takes place on Wednesday nights. We currently have two van routes that pick up youth and children for services and take them home again. The vans leave at approximately 6:00 pm every Wednesday to start their routes. Routes usually take about 30 minutes to run depending on time of the year and number of riders on a particular night.
Requirements:
To drive our 15 passenger vans you must have a driver’s safety course and be approved by the churches insurance. To help with the bus driving you must have a CDL with a passenger endorsement and a school bus endorsement. We also require a background check with all of our drivers.

New Property (921 Rock Hill Rd.)Lawn Mowing, weed eating, tree trimming, hedge trimming, hang lights down drive way and painting of a shed.
Church grounds (3000 Rock Hill Rd.)Clearing fence lines, tree trimming, painting, up keep on flower beds, repair work on buildings such as replacing siding in places. Playground equipment repairs and up-keep, staining posts, and painting handrails.

We have begun using volunteers to clean the church buildings on a rotating basis. If you or your family would like to serve in this way we would love to have you join one of the teams. If this is of interest to you we will train you and put you on a rotation with others to help keep our church beautiful.
